How to earn on Hero Trainer?

It’s easy — all you have to do is walk or run and make some steps. It’s an RPG-themed mobile health tracking app: the more you walk, the more you level up, and the more your steps are counted toward aura (the reward coin).

Steps are limited per day, and this limit increases as you level up. As a beginner, steps are capped at 3,000 per day, increasing to 20,000 per day at level 70. The steps cap increases at levels 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70. 1,000 steps is equal to 1 aura.

The app uses Apple Health, Google Fit, or Fitbit tracker to track steps. Samsung users should install Google Fit, as Samsung Health is not yet available.

Features

Guilds — Participate in guilds or create your own and climb the leaderboard to earn additional aura after every season. Players can chat with other members and view their daily and season steps. A new season starts after each one ends.

Daily streak — Logging into the app every day keeps your streak counting, rewarding up to 5 runes per day, which can be used to upgrade RPG heroes.

Heroes — Heroes currently have no use for the app beyond being upgraded with runes to unlock achievements and earn XP to level up. Runes are obtained by walking at least 3,000 steps a day, rewarding a runic chest with a random amount of runes. A single hero can be upgraded 3 times: the 1st upgrade costs 25 runes, the 2nd costs 150 runes, and the last costs 450 runes. At the time of writing, there were 7 different heroes, each with their own upgrade possibilities.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store and the Google Play Store.

Premium memberships

Hero Trainer has 2 Premium plans but can also be used for free. The first premium plan rewards aura for going to the gym and gives an additional 10 aura when reaching your daily step limit. The second plan rewards training at home and gives an additional 20 aura when reaching your daily step limit.

Withdrawals and fees

Earned aura can be withdrawn for gift cards, not cash. Claimable rewards include GameStop, Amazon, Twitch, Razer Gold, Apex, EA, Playstation, Nintendo eShop, Xbox, Google Play, and Apple Cards. Some games are also available to redeem for aura.
